After revisiting the text this year, he set about the task of rewriting it and fearlessly bringing it into the big screen. Romero is very good at accepting challenges and accepts them without thinking twice about them. Recall that for a year he performed eight weekly performances of the Broadway production “Six” in more than 40 cities across the United States.

“The truth is that now that I think about it, I don’t know how I did this theater tour. I’m saying it now and I can’t even believe it. The same thing happens to me now that I’m in Tapia and I look at this room and I really can’t believe it,” confessed the daughter of the singer and presenter. Deddie Romero and the granddaughter of veteran conguera player Sonia López.

Romero points out that in a few weeks she will begin editing her debut work through the eyes of the director and announced that there will be a lot of laughter, but at the same time there will be a lot of nerves, because comedy “is the most ridiculous thing you can do in your life, you’ll sit down and say, ‘Wow, what is that?’” he said.

“I’m making my debut, yes. It’s my debut as a director and writer here in Puerto Rico and I can’t believe it. “For the Love of the Gods” is inspired by Pandora’s Box. It’s about the imperfect being the perfect. What could be better than presenting it with the gods of Olympus in the Tapia Theater? I wrote a comedy and it was well received when I performed it when I was 18. But when I visited her, now aged 24, I said, ‘What a shame!’ I can’t believe I submitted this.’ So I changed it completely and did a casting. I have an incredible work team. The majority are women, young people my age who are also just starting out. “I am very proud and very excited that you will see this piece here at Tapia on November 3rd,” said the protagonist of the series. “Gina Yei” by Disney Plus.

The dancer and influencer also revealed that directing a play was a goal that she had pursued a few years ago, but that she didn’t dare to do because “as an artist, you judge yourself a lot.”

“It came about because I always get bored and start creating. I’m always inventing something and it’s also important to have a lot of eggs in one basket because maybe I was dancing a nice merengue but suddenly my foot gave way and I won’t be able to do it anymore and I’ll have to find another way, to do it. What really moves me is to do different things at the same time,” emphasized the actress, who is in all her glory, as she is extremely versatile in health, talented, creative, disciplined and sincere.

Romero will be accompanied by a team of about 15 people who will help her realize the dream of her first job in Tapia. As a director, she mentioned that her focus is to create new, different things that are full of humor as it is part of her personality.

She hasn’t said a word about whether she will star in the comedy or not. “They need to come and see it and then they’ll know,” he said.

“In everything I do, I always want it to be something different. I also love making people laugh. I need people who make you laugh as soon as you talk to them in a normal conversation. I also like to inspire. I think in comedy, when you watch a TV show like The Office, you fall in love with these characters, laugh with them, and suddenly when something sad or serious happens, it touches you. And you ask, “Why did it affect me so much?” It’s because you didn’t realize that you had such a good connection with this person. “There is something so beautiful about comedy and I would like to practice it,” said the artist, who had to settle in the United States due to her acting career, although she continues to travel to the island frequently for her projects, her family and her family. “Chops with tostones,” he said.

Romero couldn’t provide details about her next big project because she’s not authorized. However, she said she would return to musical theater. The reviews of his work in the musical “Six” were excellent, the same happened here on the island when he appeared in “In the heights” inside Puerto Rico Colosseum.
