The actress Julie du Page has been one of the muses of Lancôme Officiel in Quebec for two years. As part of the creation of a partnership between Lancôme and the Louvre Museum, local and international muses of the French company gathered for an extremely private evening within the walls of the legendary establishment.
And there were stars like singer Sabrina Carpenter, actress Taraji P. Henderson, popular Italian stylist Chiara Ferragni and American actress Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girls).
Add to that the “crazy in Paris” energy in the middle of fashion week and the opportunity was perfect for Lancôme to make a splash on a glamorous, star-studded evening for its latest campaign in collaboration with the Louvre. -Muses and famous friends of the brand.
“I still get goosebumps because it was so incredible. There was this big dinner and a private tour of the Louvre with a knowledgeable history guide. I found myself alone in front of the Mona Lisa,” adds the 50-year-old actress, who was able to chat with several of her idols, including actress Penélope Cruz.
“I told her that I have been following her since her debut in Jambon, Jambon and that in my opinion she is one of the best artists of her generation, that she has a whole interiority in her eyes. She’s very nice,” Julie du Page tells the Journal.

Isabella Rossellini, 76 years old, has retained the legendary beauty, the quiet strength she exudes and her way of remaining confident yet humble. “I told him about the connection between the use and smell of Lancôme products and my mother when I was a child, when she was a young muse. My childhood memories were connected to her in some way. She was touched,” she said.
Detective Sergeant Sophie Duhamel’s interpreter in series 5e was surprised that such in-demand stars were so friendly and approachable.
This is particularly true of the American performer Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia!, The Dropout, The Crowded Room), with whom she had “a very nice conversation at the end of the evening” and with whom Julie du Page would see herself working well one day, when the opportunity presents itself.
“Why not dream and try to make things happen? I loved being properly introduced to these people as a muse and an actress. I felt like I belonged. But I admit that the night I returned to my room I wanted to scream, “Oh my God!” All these women I met! I measure my happiness,” continues the artist, who wore a vintage Zac Posen dress from By Rotation Rental and Aldo shoes.
“It really is the evening of my life.” I was overwhelmed by the grandeur; There were so many stars per square meter that we found ourselves in a fabulous location, surrounded by legendary works in a super private setting. Who has access to it? ” she adds.

Proud to represent Quebec
Julie du Page became friends with young Canadian actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan from the Netflix series Never Have I Ever.
“This girl is so cool!” We’ll definitely stay in touch. She would like to film in Montreal so we could try to work together. She could be my daughter. “It’s a great meeting,” confirms the woman, who also met actress Lily Collins (Emily in Paris), another Lancôme muse, during a first press trip with the brand to France.

The actress, whose posts can be read on her blog Julie La Pie and who is currently working on her first novel, is proud to represent Quebec. She claims that she has never forgotten where she comes from and has received several messages from people telling her that she makes them proud to be Quebecois after her Instagram publications in which she tells tonight .
“I enjoyed every second. Even though I’m 50, I’m still amazed at a lot of things. I had to pinch myself and say to myself: I’m experiencing this, I deserve it, they want me here. I think everyone was amazed by the splendor of this magical night,” adds the woman, who was also able to visit Lancôme’s laboratories along with Annie Black, the brand’s international scientific director.
