The fans were obsessed, to say the least.
Jennifer Aniston was a pioneer of celebrity cover modeling – and decades into her career, she continues to succeed in this task. In her latest feature, The Morning Show star, 54, poses behind-the-scenes in lingerie and an oversized blazer in a recent Instagram video.
The star shared the clip from a photo shoot for CR Fashion Book where she danced and let off steam. “On set fun with @crfashionbook ????????????,” she wrote. The video featured her in a variety of all-black outfits, including the aforementioned blazer ensemble as well as a flowing cape and a loose three-piece suit. Without hesitation, fans showered the actress – and her looks – with praise.
“This woman is like wine… ????,” one person commented. “Icon Jen-ergy ????,” another added. “???? so hot ????,” another wrote.
In another post, Aniston shared various black-and-white stills from the shoot, calling the opportunity a “dream come true.”
In the interview accompanying the shoot, Aniston discussed her thriving hair care line LolaVie, her partnership with fitness brand Pvolve, and generally thriving in middle age. Everyone wants to know: How does she do it?
“I drink lots of water, exercise daily, try to eat whole, fresh foods and sleep as much as possible,” she told CR Fashion Book via email. “This last part is a challenge for me, but it is so important. I feel it when I don’t get enough rest.” She continued, “In addition, I try to be very mindful of what I let into my headspace. Our world is truly facing some challenges and I know we all care deeply, but sometimes I think it is essential that we tune out the noise.”
Aniston also has a keen interest in medical science, which she incorporates into LolaVie and her brand partnerships, including Pvolve and Vital Proteins. She thanks her father, the late actor John Aniston, for planting that seed.
“There was a time when my father was studying medicine when acting slowed down for him, so we moved to Greece when he was five or six,” she explained. “So I had a doctor/actor (LOL) in the house who introduced me to the world of medicine and research. During dinner we sat and watched medical shows. Even micro-surgery – not what you would normally want to see over dinner. This sparked interest, and I am forever grateful to the science and medical community that continues to advance our knowledge of the human body, our health, and how we can continue to thrive as we age.”
She may not have all the answers, but she has definitely figured out her recipe for success.
