Suki Waterhouse says her boyfriend Robert Pattinson was ‘so accepting of the chaos’ when she moved in with him

Waterhouse talks about what it’s like to live with a friend for the first time

Suki Waterhouse reveals what it was like living with her boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

The 31-year-old model and the 37-year-old Twilight actor have been together since 2018, but only made the decision to move in together about six months ago.

In a new interview on Apple’s podcast “Driven Minds: A Type 7,” presented by Gillian Sagansky and released Wednesday, Waterhouse talked about how Pattinson was “so accepting of the chaos” after moving out of her apartment and into his apartment.

“I have so much anxiety because I moved. “I wasn’t there when we moved, so everything was just packed up and shipped,” the “Daisy Jones and The Six” actress told Sagansky after noting that she had enlisted the help of a “professional cleaner” to to help her organize her things.

She added that even parting with her plants was a personal challenge, “because I’ve moved in with my boyfriend now and I’ve always lived alone.”

When Sagansky pointed out that living with a significant other could be “a big step,” the model noted that Pattinson hadn’t expressed any concerns.

“It doesn’t feel all that crazy. And I’m very lucky because he’s so accepting of the mess and the chaos. He never says anything about it,” Waterhouse shared. “He finds it kind of charming. I’m very lucky for that.”

During the podcast, Waterhouse said “it felt very special” when she and the Batman talent started dating because they met after she began “a period of celibacy.”

When asked what led her to choose sobriety, the Love, Rosie actress cited previous relationship disappointments as a contributing factor.

“After dating someone for a year, I got ghosted and broke up, that was pretty bad,” the model said. “But it turned out to be brilliant because I found it like a bout of celibacy.”

According to Waterhouse, celibacy lasted about six months.

Before Pattinson, the London-born actress said she dated a number of people with red flags, including a narcissist and people who “constantly cheated on you.”

“It’s really amazing,” she added.

Sagansky asked Waterhouse if there was anything about her current relationship that made her more successful than previous ones. The entertainer admitted that she is in a better place in life now.

“Maybe it was about feeling ready in a way that I never had before, that I actually had something to give. I’ve sat with myself – been in different relationships,” Waterhouse said, adding that she prefers peace.
