Weekend special on what to do in Livorno from September 22nd to 24th LivornoToday

Numerous and varied events are planned in Livorno next weekend from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th September. Between exhibitions, music, shows, cinema, theater and also a lot of sport. Find out what the weekend in Livorno has to offer (all events in detail in the “Things to do in the city” section).

It opened on Friday June 30th and will last until October 8th the photo exhibition “Dreams of the Corsairs. Livorno and its Sea in the Alinari Archives” in the Civic Museum, Oil Bottini Cultural Center.

Another naval jewel lies in the port of Livorno. This is the frigate Alpino, which has been docked at the Capitaneria dock since yesterday, Thursday September 21st. It will be visitable from September 22nd to 24th.

Friday, September 22nd, from 6.30 p.m. at the Bottega del Caffè, an aperitif between art and music in memory of Tiziana De Felice, writer and painter, organized by the FAST social cooperative with the participation of the Municipality of Livorno. At 7 p.m., Tiziana De Felice’s posthumous book “La catena” (Erasmo Edition – 2023) will be presented, while the works she created will be exhibited in the 17th century rooms of the Bottega.

Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September “Libri in Rivolta”, the sixth edition of the book festival, will take place at the Ex Caserma Occupata in Livorno.

Second appointment at the Jazz Sur Le Bateau Festival, a journey around the world between art and music, a route in which jazz speaks about itself and highlights the traces of its evolution. After the duo Rasenna Jazz Messenger with Max Fantolini on piano and Giulio Boschi, double bass, Saturday September 23rdat 5:30 p.m. in the Teatro di Villa Mimbelli, concert “From the Seine to the East River” with the Contrabboschi ensemble quartet.

Sunday, September 24th, from 10 p.m., appointment at Precizioso a Calafuria with “Monkeys Night”, the closing party of the summer.

A ride along the coast, from the shipyard to Antignano, and a theatrical performance dedicated to cycling and one of its protagonists, the timeless champion Gino Bartali. So Livorno will join, Sunday, 24th and Monday, September 25, at European Mobility Week.
