Volleywest returns to Perth in 2026
Volleyball Australia is pleased to confirm that the city of Perth will once again host Volleywest in 2026, from 20-28 September.
Volleywest is a celebration of indoor volleyball, with the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships and Australian Club Volleyball Championships taking place across nine days in Western Australia.
Launched in 2025, the event attracted competitors from right across Australia, and the world – something Volleyball Australia will look to continue for the second year of the event in 2026.
Volleyball Australia CEO Andrew Dee said: “We are excited to be taking two of our most prestigious indoor events back to WA in 2026.
“Volleywest was a great success in 2025, and thanks to the ongoing support from the Western Australian Government through Tourism WA, pleased to be returning in 2026,” he said.
The Bendat Basketball Centre and Gold Netball Centre will host the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships from Sunday 20 to Friday 25 September, before the Australian Club Volleyball Championships takes place at the Bendat Basketball Centre from Saturday 26 to Monday 28 September.
Volleywest will be rounded out by a National Development Camp from Saturday 26 to Monday 28 September, at Loftus Recreation Centre.
Volleywest is supported by the Western Australian Government, through Tourism Western Australia, and Volleyball Western Australia
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
